Top-rated independent heating and cooling across southern Nevada and the desert Southwest

Central AC Installation

We install central AC systems for homeowners across Arizona, California, Nevada and Utah, replacing a worn out split system or rooftop package unit with a properly sized one and correcting the ductwork and electrical that feed it. Most people call us when air conditioning repair costs keep stacking up, the system cannot hold temperature through a long afternoon, or a compressor has finally quit. Call us and we will come out, measure the house, look at the existing equipment and give you the options in plain terms before anything is removed.

What a central AC installation involves

A central AC installation is a day of real work, not a swap. We recover the old refrigerant, pull the condenser or package unit, and check the pad or roof curb before the new equipment lands. Line sets get evaluated and often replaced, the evaporator coil or air handler is matched to the outdoor unit, and the drain line and float switch are redone so a clog does not soak a ceiling. Then we pull a deep vacuum, charge to spec, and run the system while we watch temperatures and pressures.

What we check and install along the way

Before we quote, we measure the home and calculate the BTU load rather than copying the tonnage off the old data plate. We inspect the duct system for crushed runs, disconnected boots and leaking plenums, since new equipment on bad ducts still leaves rooms hot. We look at the disconnect, breaker size and wire gauge, the thermostat and its wiring, and the return air opening. Dust is hard on coils across the region, so we talk through filtration and access for cleaning while the unit is still open.

How we decide replacement is the right call

We would rather fix what you have. Air conditioner repair makes sense when the failure is a capacitor, contactor, motor or a leak we can find and seal on a system that still holds charge. Replacement moves ahead when the compressor is gone, the coil is leaking in several places, the refrigerant is obsolete, or repairs have become a pattern over consecutive summers. We tell you which of those we found and why, and if repair buys you another season we will say so.

Central AC Installation — quick answers

How long does a central AC installation take?

Most single system changeouts finish in one day. Rooftop package units, duct repairs, electrical upgrades or a second system can push into a second day, and we tell you which before we start.

Can I keep my existing ductwork?

Often yes, if it is sealed and sized for the new equipment. We inspect it first. Leaking or undersized ducts get repaired or partly replaced, because new equipment cannot fix bad airflow.

Do I need a new thermostat with a new system?

Sometimes. Variable speed and multi stage equipment needs a compatible thermostat and the right wiring. If your current one works with the new system, we leave it alone and reuse it.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Tell us the symptom

Call or fill out the quote form. We ask what changed, when it started, and whether the outdoor unit is running. That tells us which parts and gauges to load on the truck before we leave.

  2. Step 2

    We diagnose on site

We check the thermostat, the electrical side, airflow, refrigerant pressures, and the condenser coil. Desert dust plugs coils and dying capacitors are common. You get the finding in plain words before we touch a part.

  3. Step 3

    Repair and verify

We make the repair, then run the system and measure supply air temperature and amp draw so we know it is actually cooling or heating. We tell you what we saw and what to watch for next season.

Why homeowners call us

  • We know rooftop unitsHalf the valley has a package unit on the roof, baking all summer. We are up there regularly, so we know how those cabinets fail, where the drain pans rust, and how heat and sun break down wiring and blower assemblies.
  • Dust is the local enemyFine desert dust mats onto condenser coils and chokes airflow, and the system runs hot until something gives up. We check the coil on every call and tell you honestly whether cleaning will fix your cooling problem.
  • July gets treated like JulyA dead condenser when it is 112 outside is not a routine call. We prioritise homes with no cooling, and we say clearly when we can be there instead of leaving you guessing all afternoon.
  • Heating tooDesert nights get cold and furnaces sit unused for months. We do heater repair and furnace repair, including no-ignition problems, bad igniters, and blowers that hum without moving air. Same straight explanation, no upsell speech.
  • All major brands, gas & electricIndependent service on Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Goodman, York and the rest.
  • Straight answersIf a system is not worth repairing, we say so, often right on the phone.
