We handle air conditioning repair, heater repair, and full system replacement for homes across Las Vegas, and if your AC quit in July we want to hear about it the same day. Most of what we see here is a rooftop package unit on a stucco tract home, or a split system with the condenser sitting on the south side of the house taking sun all afternoon. Valley dust is the quiet problem. It packs into condenser coils until the unit cannot dump heat, head pressure climbs, and the compressor gives up on the hottest afternoon of the year. Dry air is easier on equipment than humidity, but 110 degree days are not, and ducts in an unconditioned attic lose capacity fast. Winter matters too. A few December nights drop near freezing and older furnaces that sat idle all summer come up short. Before you call, check the thermostat, the breaker, and your filter.
Most homes here went up during the growth waves of the 1990s and 2000s, with older ranch and post-war stucco pockets closer to downtown. Typical build is slab-on-grade, stucco over frame, tile roof, with ducting in a hot attic or a rooftop package unit. That means short duct runs baking above the ceiling and outdoor equipment taking sun and dust year round.

How fast can you get to my Las Vegas home in summer?
We aim for same-day visits on no-cooling calls during the hot months, and we book by area so a Summerlin route and a Henderson route are not fighting each other. Call early in the day if you can. Afternoons in July fill up first, and if you have a rooftop package unit, tell us when you call so we bring ladder and roof gear on the first trip.
Do you work outside Las Vegas proper?
